Biman Bangladesh Airlines has suspended all flights from Dhaka to Riyadh and Dammam until October 17, citing passenger safety concerns amid ongoing attacks at airports in Saudi Arabia.
The suspension will remain in effect until October 17, according to Bangladesh local time and date, the airline said on October 13.
Biman said it would announce updates on the flights and revised schedules in due course.
Passengers with urgent travel needs can use Jeddah and Madinah international airports to travel to Saudi Arabia or return to Bangladesh, the airline said.
Travellers have been advised to contact Biman Bangladesh Airlines’ sales centres for information on ticketing and other travel arrangements.
The airline urged passengers to follow official updates for further information on the suspended services.
