USA – The US State Department has renewed its call for information on five senior leaders of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), offering rewards of up to $10 million for information that could help identify or disrupt their activities.
The announcement was made through the State Department’s Rewards for Justice program in a post on social media platform X on Monday.
The five officials named by the US authorities are IRGC Commander Ahmad Vahidi; Ali Abdollahi, head of the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters; Saeed Aghajani, commander of the IRGC Aerospace Force’s unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) unit; Hamid Reza Lashgarian, head of the IRGC Cyber-Electronic Command; and Majid Khademi, commander of the IRGC Intelligence Organization.
According to the US State Department, the individuals lead IRGC units that have targeted US personnel through armed attacks and US critical infrastructure through malicious cyber operations.
The department said people who provide information that proves useful in disrupting these threats could be considered for financial rewards as well as possible relocation assistance.
The renewed reward offer comes amid heightened tensions between Washington and Tehran and continued US pressure on Iran and the IRGC.
