The body of Iran’s late Supreme Leader, , has been transferred to Tehran’s Grand Mosalla Mosque, where preparations are underway for what could become the largest funeral gathering in the country’s history.

According to reports, nearly 20 million people are expected to participate in the funeral prayers, reflecting the deep political and religious significance of Khamenei’s death. Following the funeral in Tehran, Khamenei’s body is expected to be buried in his hometown of Mashhad, at the revered .
