Several United States military aircraft crashed in Kuwait on Monday, the country’s Ministry of Defense confirmed, adding that all pilots involved managed to eject safely.
According to the ministry, the pilots were transported to hospital for medical examinations and are currently in stable condition. Authorities did not immediately disclose the cause of the crashes.
The incident occurred at a time of escalating tensions in the region, with Kuwait reportedly facing intensified attacks linked to the ongoing Iran-Israel conflict. However, officials did not specify whether the crashes were related to hostile action or technical failure.
The United States Central Command has been contacted for comment, but no immediate statement was issued.
