Moscow, December 25, 2025 —
Russian President Vladimir Putin has sent Christmas greetings to United States President Donald Trump, along with a congratulatory message, the Kremlin said on Thursday.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed that Putin extended the holiday wishes to Trump, describing the message as a formal greeting marking Christmas.
However, Peskov said there were no plans for a phone conversation between the two leaders on Thursday. “There is no scheduled call between President Putin and President Trump today,” he added.

The exchange comes amid continued global attention on US–Russia relations, which remain shaped by geopolitical tensions despite occasional symbolic gestures between the two sides.
