The White House announced that public tours will officially resume on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, marking the reopening of one of Washington’s most popular visitor experiences. The updated tour route will allow visitors to explore the historic rooms and artistic heritage of the People’s House.
In honor of the holiday season, all December tours will feature the annual White House Christmas decorations displayed throughout the State Floor. This year’s décor—designed under the direction of First Lady Melania Trump—will highlight themes of warmth, faith, and hope, offering guests an immersive festive experience.
Congressional offices may begin submitting tour requests for their constituents starting November 3, 2025. Tour availability for December will open 30 days before each scheduled date, while January 2026 dates are expected to be released sometime in December.
Members of the public seeking additional information about tour arrangements are encouraged to contact their respective congressional offices or visit the official White House website.
