Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz stated that during the war with Iran, they wanted to kill Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, but they did not get the chance.In an interview with Channel 13, the occupying minister said, “We had a plan to assassinate Ayatollah Khamenei. But we didn’t get the opportunity. If we had seen him, we would have killed him.”When asked whether they sought permission from the United States to kill Khamenei, Israel Katz replied, “In such matters, we don’t need U.S. permission.”Meanwhile, on Thursday, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei addressed the nation. He claimed they defeated the false Zionist regime (Israel) in the war. He also remarked that Iran had slapped the United States in the face. It is believed that after the war started, he moved to a safe shelter, from where he gave today’s speech.
