Zelensky Wants to Negotiate a Deal to End the Ukraine War!

Newly elected U.S. President Donald Trump revealed on Sunday that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is interested in negotiating a deal to end his country’s war with Russia. Recently, Trump and Zelensky met in Paris, where Zelensky expressed his interest in this matter, according to AFP reports.

Earlier, French President Emmanuel Macron hosted trilateral discussions at the Élysée Palace on Saturday, involving Zelensky and Trump. The war in Ukraine has been ongoing for nearly three years since Russia’s invasion. Meanwhile, Trump is set to take office as U.S. President in January.

On his Truth Social platform, Trump wrote that Zelensky and Ukraine want a deal to end this madness.

Trump stated, “There should be an immediate ceasefire, and negotiations must begin. Too many lives are being lost, and countless families have been destroyed unnecessarily. If this continues, it could escalate into something bigger and worse.”

In recent weeks, the number of attacks and counterattacks between Ukraine and Russia has significantly increased. Moreover, Moscow has intensified its attacks as winter sets in.

On Friday (December 6), Russian forces launched an attack on the central Ukrainian city of Kryvyi Rih. According to the local governor, at least two people were killed in the incident.
