Meanwhile, U.S. President Donald Trump met Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the first time since assuming office for a second term. On Thursday, they held a meeting at the White House, discussing multiple issues, including trade and immigration.
After the meeting, a journalist asked Trump:
“What is your opinion on Bangladesh? It is clear that during the Biden administration, the U.S. deep state was involved in changing the government in Bangladesh. Even Muhammad Yunus met with Junior Soros. What is your perspective on the matter?”
Trump responded:
“There was no role of our deep state in this matter. This is an issue that Prime Minister (Modi) has been working on for a long time, and to be honest, it has been a subject of work for hundreds of years. But I am leaving this matter to the Prime Minister (Modi).”
