‘We Are Probably The Worst Team In The History Of Manchester United’

Just as a little glimmer of hope appears, it’s dark again. Such is the case with Manchester United. Their fate is not changing at all. The most successful team in the English Premier League has been spinning in circles of discontinuous performance for a long time. After yet another league defeat this season, coach Huben Amoury admitted plainly that his side are the worst in the club’s 147-year history. United dropped to 13th in the league table after losing 31 goals against. They seem to be moving towards finishing the Premier League from their worst position. In this first season after the 198990 season, they lost 10 of the first 22 matches in the league. And for the first time after the 189394 season, the team lost 6 of the first 12 matches at home in the league.
Amoury was appointed to United after Erik ten Haag was sacked last October due to the team’s failure. The Portuguese coach, who had a great time at Sporting Lisbon, is in a state of disappointment.

United have managed to pick up just 11 points out of a possible 33 points in 11 league games since Amurri took over.

With Sky Sports after the loss against Brighton. Amuri frankly admitted his failure in the conversation.

“Imagine what it must be like for a Manchester United fan. How about for me, imagine. The new coach comes in and loses more than the previous coach. I understand that completely.”

“We are probably the worst team in the history of Manchester United. I know you (the media) want headlines. But I’m saying this because we have to accept our position and change it.” They have 26 points in 22 matches. They finished the season last season with an era-worst eighth-place finish in the Premier League.
Their last relegation from England’s top league was in 1974.
