Gaza City, Gaza Strip – The streets of Gaza are filled with joy as children celebrate a long-awaited ceasefire agreement that brings an end to 15 months of relentless shelling and incursions. In a poignant display of resilience and hope, Palestinian children danced and chanted, proclaiming, “We are the people of Palestine!”

The ceasefire, reached after intense negotiations, has provided a much-needed respite for the people of Gaza. With mobile phones in hand, the children captured these moments of happiness, sharing their relief and hope with the world. This spontaneous outpouring of joy reflects the deep yearning for peace and normalcy among the young generation who have lived through the conflict.
