Usha Chulukuri Is The Second Lady Of The United States

He himself never wanted to be in the light of the foot lamp; Instead, JD Vance’s wife, Usha Chulukuri Vance, of Indian origin, is playing a significant role in the development of her husband’s political life. Trump was officially nominated as their presidential candidate at the party’s national convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Monday. Trump chose Vance as his running mate. Who was once a harsh critic of Trump.

Usha first met Vance in 2013 at Yale Law School. Both of them were students of the famous law school. According to a New York Times report, they both joined a discussion group on ‘social decay in white America’.

This is what inspired Vance to write his memoir ‘Hillbilly Elegy’. Vance’s book was on the best-selling list of 2016. The memoir was adapted into a movie of the same name, directed by Ron Howard in 2020. Vance, 39, says he considers wife Usha his ‘Yale theoretical guru’. They were classmates at Yale Law School. According to Usher’s LinkedIn profile, she earned a bachelor’s degree in history from Yale University before studying law. He is a ‘Gates Scholar’ of Cambridge University. He did MPhil from this university. His thesis topic was pre-modern history.

Vance and Usha married in 2014. The couple has three children.
Usha’s parents immigrated from India to the United States. Born and raised in the suburbs of San Diego, California, Usha was once a registered Democrat voter.

During her career, Usha served under Justice Brett Kavanaugh. Kavanaugh is now a Supreme Court justice. Usha later served under Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts. In 2020, Vance said on The Megyn Kelly Show, “Usha definitely brings me back to reality a little bit and if I get a little bit arrogant or a little bit proud of myself, I just Reminding myself that she (Usha) is much better than me.’

‘People cannot believe how intelligent and skilled she is. He can read a thousand page book in just a few hours. Vance also said that his wife advises him. Vance needs this skill of his wife now more than any other time.
