UN Secretary-General Condemns Israeli Airstrikes in Gaza

Over 400 Palestinians were killed overnight in Israeli airstrikes on Gaza, sparking international outrage. UN Secretary-General António Guterres expressed deep anger over the attacks and raised concerns over the violation of the ceasefire.

In a post on social media platform X, Guterres stated that he was “deeply shocked” by the Israeli airstrikes in Gaza. He called for an immediate ceasefire and the restoration of humanitarian aid. Additionally, he demanded the unconditional release of all hostages held in Gaza.

Following these events, various countries and human rights organizations strongly condemned the Israeli attacks. They urged the international community to take action to stop the violence and ensure humanitarian assistance for the people of Gaza.

In response to Guterres’ statement, global human rights groups and international organizations have voiced concern over the situation in Gaza, calling on Israel and influential powers to take concrete steps toward peace.
