Two Cancer Warriors: Message from British Royalty to Manisha Koirala

Bollywood’s evergreen actress Manisha Koirala evokes nostalgia for many, bringing to mind the romantic essence of the 1990s. With her charming personality, stunning beauty, captivating smile, and effortless acting, she has won the hearts of millions.

Although she isn’t as active in acting these days and chooses her projects carefully, her performance in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s series “Heeramandi” has received praise.

Recently, Manisha has been in the spotlight for a different reason—she received a special message from Britain’s Kate Middleton.

In 2012, Manisha was diagnosed with cervical cancer, which kept her away from acting for a long time. The illness affected her both physically and mentally, leading to feelings of loneliness. After a lengthy treatment, she returned to work.

Meanwhile, in March of this year, news broke that Kate Middleton had also been diagnosed with cancer. The young royal herself revealed that she was undergoing chemotherapy, having remained out of the public eye for a while. Kate isn’t alone in her struggles; King Charles III has also faced cancer, though the specifics of his condition remain undisclosed. Fortunately, doctors had given Charles a positive update in April, and Kate’s health is improving, though her treatment continues.

Upon learning about the young royal’s battle with cancer, Manisha felt compelled to reach out. Being a member of the Nepalese royal family, she sought to support another royal family member. Eventually, the two cancer warriors connected, and a message from Kate was received.

In a recent interview, Manisha shared, “I had been trying to contact her for a long time. Finally, I received a message from the British royal.”

However, she did not disclose the details of their conversation.
