Trump’s Inauguration: Who Are Attending, What Are The Events, Why So Much Changes?

Donald Trump is taking power for the second term as the President of the United States. His swearing-in ceremony will be held on Monday (January 20). However, this traditional ceremony of taking the oath of the new or re-elected president in the country every four years will be different this time. In the past few years, the swearing-in ceremony has been held on the West Lawn of Capitol Hill, but this year it will be held in the Capitol Rotunda. Due to inclement weather, the event has been moved indoors. Usually the Chief Justice of the US Supreme Court administers the oath of office to the new President. While there are concerns about the number of guests at events and events, the move to indoors may reduce attendance. The Capitol Rotunda has a capacity of about 600 people.
