Trump’s Inauguration Day; What Special Would Happen?

Washington, D.C. – As Donald Trump prepares to be sworn in as the 47th President of the United States on January 20, the day promises a mix of tradition and unique events.

Three-Day Extravaganza

The inauguration will be part of a three-day celebration starting with the President’s Reception and Fireworks on Saturday, followed by the Cabinet Reception and Vice President’s Dinner. On Sunday, Trump will lay a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery and deliver remarks at the Make America Great Again Victory Rally at Capital One Arena.

The day will begin with a service at St. John’s Episcopal Church and a tea at the White House before the swearing-in ceremony at the U.S. Capitol around noon. The ceremony will be followed by a Signing Ceremony, a Congressional Luncheon, and the President’s Review of the Troops. Trump will then lead a parade down Pennsylvania Avenue to the White House.

Public Engagement

Over 220,000 tickets have been distributed to the public, with large video screens set up on the National Mall for those without tickets. The ceremony will be followed by a parade down Pennsylvania Avenue, allowing the public to catch a glimpse of the new president.

Musical Performances

Carrie Underwood will sing “America the Beautiful,” and Lee Greenwood will perform his patriotic anthem “God Bless the USA”. A pre-inauguration rally on January 19 will feature performances by The Village People, Kid Rock, and Billy Ray Cyrus.

Inaugural Galas

Trump is expected to attend all three of his official inaugural galas on the night of January 20. Additionally, a Make America Great Again Victory Rally will be held at Washington’s Capital One Arena the night before the inauguration.

With these preparations, Trump’s second inauguration is poised to be a grand affair, blending traditional ceremony with his characteristic flair and a strong presence from the tech industry.
