Trump Will Stop Wars And Make Friends, Bring Critics Under Investigation

The world is looking forward to what steps Donald Trump will take after taking office for the second term as the President of the United States. Trump has promised to stop the war. He will extend his helping hand to those who work for him. At the same time, cynics and critics will be brought under investigation. Trump is scheduled to be sworn in as the 47th president of the United States on Monday local time. Trump has been criticizing the US support for Ukraine in the war with Russia. He has been saying since the US presidential election last November that he can end the Russia-Ukraine war within 24 hours of taking office. But his advisers admit the Russia-Ukraine war is not going away in 24 hours. It will probably take months to stop this war. Trump has hinted that Ukraine may have to cede some of its territory to Russia in order to make a peace deal. Russia has also expressed interest in talks with Trump about ending the war in Ukraine.

Trump and his national security adviser Michael Waltz were criticized last November by the outgoing President Biden’s administration for allowing Ukraine to use missiles provided by the United States on Russian territory.

Trump also commented on the activities of the Western military alliance NATO. He said, his administration will look into NATO’s purpose and mission. He is assigning the responsibility to Rubio to fulfill his goals with foreign policy. However, Trump has the intention to normalize relations with China. He invited Chinese President Xi Jinping to the inauguration ceremony. Xi did not attend, but Chinese Vice President Han Zheng did. In addition to this, he has prevented the closure of the Chinese technology company ByteDance’s app TikTok in the United States. CNN reported that Donald Trump also expressed his desire to visit China after taking the oath of office.

Trump supported Israel in its fight against Hamas in Gaza. However, he also supported the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas last Wednesday. Trump will try to normalize relations between Israel and Saudi Arabia. Earlier, he made this effort in his first term from 2017 to 2021. Later, Biden also continued it. Then the country’s President Bashar al-Assad fell at the hands of the rebels. Iran is also expected to strengthen relations with Trump in the Middle East. The country’s new reformist president Massoud Pezheshkian is seen as pro-Western. A statement from Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said yesterday, Iran hopes that Trump’s new administration will move forward with practical policies. Trump has talked about building an air defense system like Israel’s Iron Dome across the United States. In addition to this, it is also said that an operation to catch drug smugglers in Mexico will be conducted.

Trump has also shown an initiative to extend a hand of friendship to right-wing leaders in Europe. Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and Argentine President Javier Millei were on the guest list at his inauguration. Apart from this, Hungarian President Viktor Orbán, UK right-wing Reform Party leader Nigel Farage, French politician Zemor, Spain’s staunch nationalist Vox Party leader Santiago Abascal, Germany’s radical Alice Weidel, and many others have been invited. The cynics and critics have also threatened to be brought under investigation. His transition team is shortlisting potential high-ranking US military officials. Those who are unfaithful to Trump may lose their jobs. Apart from this, his administration will investigate everything from political rivals to election officials, lawyers and donors to campaign funds. He has already appointed Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi as Attorney General and former national security official Kash Patel as the FBI. Trump said that officials who do not follow his direction will not have their jobs. Trump will pardon most of those accused in the Capitol riots in 2021. He will send the people involved in the investigation of this incident to jail. He will punish those who have slandered him in various places including TV networks. Apart from that, Trump will break the network of those in the government who implement other agenda or run the deep state.
