Trump Wants An Agreement With Putin-Kim

US President Donald Trump has said that Russian President Vladimir Putin and North Korean leader Kim Jong -Un will have a meeting soon. Last Thursday, Trump said he would quickly meet Putin to stop the war with Ukraine and to eradicate nuclear weapons.

Trump promised to end the war on November 7 after Trump took power in the campaign before the US presidential election. But now advisers say the war can take months to stop the war. Trump took power last Monday.

“I really want to meet Putin and stop the war soon,” Trump said in a video message at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

Trump said, “Not from the point of view of the economy or from anything else, millions of lives are being wasted in this war, from this point of view. We really have to stop that war. ‘

Later in the White House, Trump told reporters that he would meet Putin as soon as possible. He said, ‘I have heard that Putin wants to meet me. We will do it as fast as we can. The troops are dying on the battlefield. ‘

Speaking at Davos, Trump added that Ukraine’s president, Jelansky, said he would like to signs the war to stop the war. A peace agreement is being drafted in the US.

Russia launched its invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. Earlier this week, Trump threatened that Washington would impose sweeping sanctions if Russia did not agree to a peace treaty.

Before this, Trump announced last Thursday that he wants to work on eliminating nuclear weapons. He also hopes that Russia and China will agree to it.

‘intelligent person’
US President Trump called North Korean leader Kim Jong-un a ‘smart guy’. He had previously met with Kim three times. He expressed his desire to meet with Kim again after assuming responsibility as the new president. Trump said this in an interview last Thursday.

Republicans had a rare diplomatic relationship with Kim during the pre-Trump administration from 2017 to 2021. But Washington could not reach an agreement with North Korea to stop its nuclear program.

In an interview with Fox News, Trump was asked whether he would discuss with Kim again. Trump said, “Of course, I will discuss.” Kim likes me.’
In his interview, Trump recalled efforts to reach an arms deal with Russia and North Korea at the end of his first term, saying he was very close to a deal. I would have made a deal with Putin to eliminate nuclear weapons, but a bad election got in the way. Trump said about the 2020 US presidential election. He lost to Joe Biden in that election.

Not a tax on China
Trump said that he had a discussion with Chinese President Xi Jinping last week. Their discussion was friendly. He hopes a trade deal can be reached between Washington and Beijing. It will not require tariffs on Chinese products. Trump and Sir spoke on the phone last Monday. They discussed trade, TikTok and Taiwan.
