Trump To Visit India, PM Modi Invited To White House

President-elect Donald Trump will be sworn in on Monday. Leaders and dignitaries of different countries of the world will be present at this oath-taking ceremony. The Indian side will be represented by External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar.

There are reports of which countries Trump can visit after taking office. According to the Wall Street Journal report, Trump is planning to visit India and China after taking office.

According to the media, Trump has expressed his desire to visit China within 100 days of taking office to strengthen relations with Beijing. President-elect Trump told his advisers about his visit to China, according to people familiar with the matter.

According to the Financial Daily report, Trump also discussed a possible visit to India with his advisers. Trump is expected to visit in April. Apart from this, Trump may invite Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for a meeting at the White House in Spring.
According to sources, the issue was discussed at the preliminary stage when Jaishankar visited Washington in December last year. In addition, after Trump’s swearing-in ceremony, the Trump administration will meet with the leaders of the Quad alliance.

According to reports, the Trump administration will meet with the foreign ministers of India, Australia and Japan.

Meanwhile, Xi will not attend Trump’s inauguration tomorrow. Instead, Chinese Vice President Han Zheng will attend Trump’s inauguration.
