Trump referred to Ratcliffe as a “champion for Truth and Honesty with the American Public” on his social media platform. In his capacity as national intelligence director, Ratcliffe acted as the president’s principal advisor on intelligence matters.
During his tenure as a congressman, Ratcliffe advocated for Trump, assisting in the investigations concerning Hunter Biden, the president’s son, while consistently denouncing the inquiries into the connections between Russia and Trump’s 2016 campaign.
