Trump Expresses Support for India After Kashmir Terror Attack

U.S. President Donald Trump has expressed his support for India following a deadly terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, which claimed the lives of 26 people, most of whom were tourists.

In a statement posted on Truth Social, Trump said the news from Kashmir is “deeply heartbreaking.” He affirmed that the United States stands in full support of India in the fight against terrorism.

He extended his condolences to the victims’ families and wished a speedy recovery for the injured. “Our full support and heartfelt sympathy are with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the wonderful people of India. Our hearts are with you all,” Trump added.

India’s central government described the attack as a “deliberately planned terrorist act.”
