Trump Calls for Iran-Israel Peace Deal: ‘Peace Very Soon’

U.S. President Donald Trump has stated that peace between Iran and Israel is coming “very soon.” Calling on both countries to reach a mutual agreement, Trump expressed optimism that a deal is inevitable. This report was published by Qatar-based media outlet Al Jazeera.In a post on his Truth Social app on Sunday, Trump wrote, “We will soon see peace between Iran and Israel. Many phone calls and meetings are underway.”However, he did not provide specific details or mention the participants involved in the discussions.Trump’s statement comes amid escalating hostilities between Iran and Israel, marked by reciprocal air and missile strikes. The current round of conflict began following an Israeli airstrike on Iran last Friday.Shortly after the Israeli strike, Trump had described the attack as “excellent” and “highly successful.”Previously, Trump had stated that the United States was not involved in the ongoing conflict and emphasized that the war could be easily resolved. However, he also warned Tehran not to target any American assets.
