Tom Cruise’s New Movie Halted After John Goodman Injured on Set

Filming for Tom Cruise’s upcoming movie has been temporarily paused after actor John Goodman sustained a hip injury on set. The incident occurred while shooting at Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire, England, forcing the production to stop for a brief period.

Warner Bros. Pictures released a statement confirming that Goodman received immediate medical attention and is expected to fully recover. Filming will resume next week following his recovery.

The movie, currently shooting under the working title Judy, stars Cruise as a megalomaniac attempting to save humanity. The cast also includes Goodman, Jesse Plemons, and Riz Ahmed. Despite the setback, sources indicate that the delay will not significantly affect the film’s tight production schedule.

While Cruise is known for performing his own stunts in action films like Mission: Impossible, this unexpected accident has raised concerns, especially considering the large budget and high stakes involved in the project.

Directed by Alejandro G. Iñárritu, the movie is shrouded in secrecy, with only a few details available about the plot. The film is set for a release in 2026, and production is expected to continue without any major delays.
