Time to Open Gates to Hell for Hamas: Israeli Minister

Israeli Communications Minister Shlomo Karhi has backed US President Donald Trump’s threat to turn Gaza into “hell”. He said it was time to open the gates of hell for Hamas, the Palestinian militant group.

A ceasefire is currently underway in Gaza. Hamas has already suspended the release of hostages, accusing Israel of violating the ceasefire agreement. Trump then threatened to cancel the ceasefire agreement if Hamas did not release the hostages by next Saturday. Then there will be a ‘hellish’ situation in Gaza.

Shlomo Carhi wrote on social media X on Tuesday, “The answer should be as President Trump said. Humanitarian aid must be stopped completely; Water, electricity and communications must be cut off, and brute and extreme force must be used until the hostages return. ’

“It’s time to open the gates of hell to Hamas,” he wrote. This time there will be no restrictions on our brave warriors. ’.

Hamas has released 16 hostages since a ceasefire in Gaza began on January 19. A total of 33 hostages are scheduled to be released in the first phase of the ceasefire. Three more hostages were due to be released on Saturday. Yesterday, Hamas announced it was suspending the release of hostages.

The bloody conflict in Gaza has been going on for more than 15 months before the ceasefire. More than 48,000 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza since the conflict began on October 7, 2023. More than 110,000 people were injured. On the other hand, 1,139 people have been killed in Hamas attacks in Israel.
