Mumbai Police arrested a woman who made a plant to assassinate Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modu.
A call was made to the Mumbai Police claiming that a plan to assassinate Narendra Modi had been made. The police initially identified that the call was made by a 34-year-old woman.
She was subsequently arrested. The authorities are investigating the reasons behind her making such a threat. The Hindu published a report regarding the incident.
According to reports, on Thursday morning, the Mumbai Police Traffic Control Room received a threatening call. During the call, it was claimed that a plan had been devised to assassinate Prime Minister Modi.
The caller even claimed that weapons had been prepared for the assassination. Upon receiving this information, the Mumbai Police sprang into action, leading to the woman’s arrest after an investigation.
Notably, in July last year, a similar call was made to the Mumbai Police, threatening to kill both Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
