Originally suspended on May 9 for one week, the tournament will now continue across six venues: Bengaluru, Jaipur, Delhi, Lucknow, Mumbai, and Ahmedabad.
A total of 17 matches will be played, including two double-header days. The venues for the playoff stage will be announced later. The playoff schedule is as follows:
Qualifier 1: May 29
Eliminator: May 30
Qualifier 2: June 1
Final: June 3
Out of the 17 matches, 13 will be league-stage games, and 4 will be playoffs. Among the rescheduled matches, the postponed clash between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals will take place in Jaipur on May 24.
The first match of the resumed IPL will feature Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Kolkata Knight Riders on May 17.
The BCCI stated that the decision to resume the IPL was made after extensive discussions with the Indian government, security agencies, and other stakeholders.
