Speaker Mike Johnson Plans to Join Trump at Mar-a-Lago for Election Watch Party

House Speaker Mike Johnson announced at an event in Louisiana that he plans to fly to Mar-a-Lago tonight to join former President Donald Trump for his election watch party.

“I think in a little bit we’re going to go to Mar-a-Lago, I think, and be down there with President Trump,” Johnson told reporters.

He added, “I am very hopeful that we’re going to have not only a larger majority in the House to make my job easier, but we retake the Senate and the White House as well.”
