Selena Gomez Teases New Music After Engagement

Selena Gomez is back in the studio and fans are buzzing! On January 22, 2025, the singer and actress shared an Instagram Stories video teasing new music. Filming herself in what appeared to be a home recording studio, Gomez, 32, wore a white tank top and black headphones, hinting at an exciting project in the works. Although she kept the details under wraps by placing a red heart emoji over her screen, faint music could be heard in the background, leaving fans eager for more.

This update comes nearly a year after the release of Gomez’s last single, “Love On,” in February 2024, inspired by her time spent in Paris. The track followed 2023’s “Single Soon” and her 2022 hit collaboration “Calm Down” with Rema. “Single Soon” was co-produced by her now-fiancé, Benny Blanco, who has worked closely with Gomez throughout their relationship.

The couple, who started dating in mid-2023, got engaged in December 2024, with Gomez sharing the joyful news on Instagram. In her post, she shared a close-up of her engagement ring and a photo with Blanco celebrating their engagement with a hug. Gomez captioned the photo, “forever begins now…”

Blanco, 36, who has supported Gomez’s latest musical journey, reposted her studio video shortly after she shared it. Fans are now eagerly awaiting to see what new sounds Gomez and Blanco are creating together in the studio.
