Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco are officially engaged!

The Only Murders in the Building star shared the exciting news on social media Wednesday, posting a series of photos featuring a ring and a cozy picnic setup, alongside the caption “forever begins now..” The couple, who started dating in 2023, looked happy as they embraced in the images.

Blanco, who had expressed his desire for marriage with Gomez by May 2024, had previously revealed on The Howard Stern Show that he couldn’t imagine a better life than the one he shares with her. He humorously added that his successful partner sometimes makes him feel self-conscious about his own accomplishments, saying, “I get home from work, and I think I had a good day. Then she tells me about filming with Meryl Streep and attending a fundraiser, and I’m like, ‘My day sounds terrible in comparison.’”

Just last month, Gomez opened up about why she feels so comfortable sharing her relationship with Blanco publicly. She explained that she feels safer than ever in this relationship and can see a future with him. Gomez also noted that revealing small parts of their relationship helps keep the public from over-scrutinizing their every move.

This will be the first marriage for both of them.
