Scarlett Johansson and Topher Grace Reunite After Two Decades

Scarlett Johansson and Topher Grace have reunited 20 years after starring together in the 2004 romantic comedy In Good Company. The two actors met on Today with Jenna & Friends on January 24, 2025, where they reminisced about their time working on the film and caught up on their lives.

Grace, 46, appeared on the show to promote his upcoming action film Flight Risk, but the reunion quickly became a nostalgic moment between him and Johansson, 40. The pair shared fond memories from their time on set, recalling how they both felt nervous working alongside each other, especially with Dennis Quaid, who also starred in the film.

Johansson admitted that it felt strange to reflect on how much time had passed since they worked together. “We haven’t seen each other for—I don’t want to say it—it’s been like decades,” Johansson joked. Grace, on the other hand, shared how intimidated he was when he first learned Johansson would be starring in the movie, especially given her two Golden Globe nominations at the time for Lost in Translation and Girl with a Pearl Earring.

“I was a little bit intimidated,” Grace recalled. “You’d just been nominated for two Golden Globes for different movies.”

Despite their nerves, both actors agreed they had a great time working together and became close friends during the shoot. Johansson added, “It didn’t seem like you were… I think we were both equally nervous to work with Dennis Quaid,” referring to the veteran actor who played her character’s father.

In Good Company saw Grace play a young boss who falls for the daughter of his employee, played by Johansson. The film remains a memorable romantic comedy from the early 2000s, and this reunion has fans reflecting on the chemistry between the two stars.
