A warehouse belonging to the Indian pharmaceutical company Kusum, located in Kyiv, Ukraine, has been destroyed by a Russian missile strike.
The Indian Embassy in Ukraine accused Russia of deliberately targeting an Indian business entity. In a statement, the embassy said, “Today, Russia launched a missile attack on the warehouse of Indian pharmaceutical company Kusum. Despite maintaining friendly relations with India, Moscow has intentionally attacked an Indian business facility. Medicines intended for children and the elderly were destroyed in the attack.”
British Ambassador to Ukraine, Martin Harris, also condemned the strike. He stated, “This morning, a Russian drone attack destroyed a pharmaceutical warehouse in Kyiv, which stored essential medicines for children and elderly people. Russia is once again engaging in terrorist activities against Ukrainian civilians.” However, he did not specify whether the destroyed warehouse belonged to the Indian company.
Meanwhile, Russia’s Defense Ministry alleged that Ukraine had launched five attacks on Russian energy infrastructure within the past 24 hours, violating the ceasefire agreement brokered by the United States.
