Russia Urges Decisive Action to End Bloodshed in Gaza, Ready to Cooperate with UN Security Council and General Assembly

MOSCOW — Russia has reaffirmed its call for the international community to take decisive action to end the ongoing bloodshed in Gaza, stressing the urgency of addressing the humanitarian crisis. In a statement, Russian officials emphasized their readiness to work with all “sane and responsible” members of the United Nations Security Council, as well as the broader UN General Assembly, to find a resolution to the conflict.

Russia’s call comes as the situation in Gaza continues to deteriorate, with thousands of civilians affected by the ongoing violence. Moscow has consistently pushed for a peaceful resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and has been critical of military escalations. Russian authorities have expressed their desire to collaborate with other international bodies to facilitate a ceasefire and work toward long-term peace and stability in the region.

The Russian government has also called for greater efforts from the United Nations to prevent further loss of life, urging a collective international response to address the humanitarian emergency. Russia has indicated its willingness to engage in dialogue and to push for effective measures to de-escalate the situation.
