The Russian President said that he is interested in discussing the Ukraine war with the Trump administration. He said Trump’s position “should not be in favor of a temporary cease-fire” but rather “a long-term peace based on respect for the legitimate interests of all peoples and nations living in the region”. Naturally, we will look after the interests of Russia.
