PSG Writes Fairy Tale of Comeback by Sending Man City to the Edge of the Ditch

PSG 4-2 Manchester City

Barcelona wrote an impeccable story of returning to the Champions League the night before. Barca came from 3-1 down to win 5-4 against Benfica. PSG may have taken the field with inspiration from Barcelona on Wednesday night.

Despite falling behind 2-0, the Paris club wrote a great fairy tale of return. PSG won 4-2 goals in the match against Manchester City. PSG kept the hopes of the last sixteen alive in the victory of the fairytale. They moved from 26th in the points table to 22nd with 10 points in 7 matches.

On the other hand, the City Champions League, which is struggling in the Premier League, also reached the edge of the ditch. To make the play-offs to ensure the last sixteen, they will have to win against Club Brugge in the last match. However, after 7 matches, the city, which is at number 25 with 8 points, is currently in the queue of the eliminated.

The morning sun predicts the day. The thrill of the thrill in Paris was there from the beginning of the match. From the first minute, both teams jumped on the attack. PSG, however, got the first chance of the match. However, City goalkeeper Ederson saved the team in that journey. In the 10th minute, PSG missed the chance for a little while.

City went on the attack quickly after the initial shock. In the 13th minute, Kevin De Bruyne’s shot was stopped by PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma. Despite not getting the goal, the aggressive football of the two teams makes the match exciting. Both teams try to score goals at this time. PSG did not get a goal again in the 27th minute of the attack, counter-attack. City defender Yusko Gvardiol returned the ball from the goal line.

Although both of them returned the goal, the heat of the attack did not decrease. In the rain, the two teams were trying to score goals. In the 39th minute, City went on the attack again and created a chance. But this time, Donnarumma stood in front of the post. Although the city could not do it, PSG scored the goal at the end of the first half. However, Achraf Hakimi’s goal was canceled due to offside.

After the break, City came to the field with two changes. Jack Grealish came in place of Savinho and Rico Lewis came in place of Ruben Diaz. This change also changes the match. Substitute Grealish scored in the 50th minute. Three minutes after the English star’s goal, Erling Holland gave City a 2-0 lead. Then it seemed that the match had slipped PSG’s hand. But who knew, all the drama was yet to come.
