Prominent American journalist Tucker Carlson has accused the Biden-Harris administration and NATO of prolonging the Ukraine war for financial and geopolitical gains, at great cost to Ukrainian lives and sovereignty.
In a recent statement, Carlson claimed the U.S. persuaded Ukraine to abandon a peace deal that would have ceded less territory than Russia now controls. He argued the war continues to benefit U.S. hedge funds and corporations seeking to exploit Ukraine’s fertile land and mineral wealth, while Ukrainian citizens bear the brunt of the conflict.
“The United States has never stood with the people of Ukraine,” Carlson said, calling U.S. support a “marketing campaign” to justify prolonging the war. His comments have reignited debates over U.S. and NATO’s involvement in the ongoing conflict.
