Warsaw: Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has issued a stark warning about the growing risk of global conflict, as tensions escalate following Russia’s missile strike on Dnipro and its threats of further retaliation. Speaking on Friday, Tusk described the situation as entering “a decisive phase” and cautioned that the threat of a global war is “serious and real.”

Parliament Session in Kyiv Cancelled Amid Security Fears

In Ukraine, the government remains on high alert. A parliamentary session scheduled in Kyiv was canceled today amid fears of an attack on the city’s government district. Officials are bracing for the possibility of more strikes as Moscow threatens additional responses to what it has called “reckless” decisions by the UK and US to allow Ukraine to target Russian territory using Western-supplied missiles.

This escalation underscores the fragility of the situation and raises fresh concerns about the potential for the conflict to spill beyond Ukraine’s borders.
