PM Modi Holds High-Level Meeting on Bangladesh Crisis; Major Action Likely

NEW DELHI – In response to escalating concerns over the treatment of Hindus in Bangladesh, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a high-level meeting with External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar on November 28. Sources indicate that PM Modi is deeply upset about the ongoing violence and atrocities against the Bangladeshi Hindu minority, and significant action is expected in the coming days.

The Indian government has pledged to raise the issue in Parliament, addressing the growing concerns about the safety and security of Hindus in Bangladesh. This comes after the controversial arrest of Chinmoy Krishna Das, which has raised alarm in India and prompted a strong response from the Indian government.

According to sources, the Modi administration is expected to take a firm stance on the situation, with further diplomatic and political actions likely to follow. The government has expressed its unwavering support for the Hindu community in Bangladesh amid these troubling developments.
