Palestinians Have No Right to Return to Gaza

In his new plan regarding the Gaza Strip, U.S. President Donald Trump has stated that Palestinians have no right to return or reside there. Trump revealed this information in an interview with the American news outlet Fox News.

On Tuesday, Trump gave an interview to Fox News journalist Bret Baier. During the interview, Baier asked him whether his new plan for the Gaza Strip includes the return or residence of Palestinians in Gaza.

In response, Trump said, “No, they do not have that right. Because they will live in much better places and better housing.”

Trump also mentioned that “beautiful communities” will be built for the approximately 2.2 million Palestinians currently residing in Gaza. He stated that potential locations for these communities have already been identified.

A few days ago, Trump hinted that Palestinians from Gaza could be resettled in Egypt and Jordan. However, both countries have opposed this suggestion. Recently, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated in an interview that Saudi Arabia has vast land, and if Riyadh agrees, Gaza’s Palestinians could be accommodated there. However, Riyadh has rejected Netanyahu’s statement.

In Tuesday’s interview, Trump said, “In other words, I am talking about a permanent residential land for them. Because Gaza is currently uninhabitable, and it will take years to make it livable.”

“We can build six, five, or at least two communities for the Palestinians from Gaza. These communities will have proper security and will be located near Gaza.”

“In the meantime, I will take ownership of Gaza. In the future, it will become a very beautiful real estate asset, and it won’t require a huge amount of money to transform it.”

Last week, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited Washington to meet with Trump. Before their meeting, during a joint press conference, Trump announced for the first time that the United States would take control of the Gaza Strip. This announcement shocked the world.

Netanyahu immediately supported Trump’s statement and called it “groundbreaking.”

During an Israeli cabinet meeting on Sunday, Netanyahu praised Trump, saying, “President Trump has brought a completely new and much better perspective for Israel.”
