Palestinian Land Is Not for Sale: Mahmoud Abbas

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has reiterated his rejection of any plans to displace Palestinians from their land, emphasizing that Palestine is not for sale.

He stated that no part of Palestine—whether Gaza, the West Bank, or Jerusalem—will be allowed to be occupied. This statement was reported by the Palestinian news agency WAFA and the Turkish news agency Anadolu.

According to the reports, President Abbas reaffirmed on Wednesday that Palestine is not for sale and rejected any plans to displace the Palestinian people.

During the opening speech of a Fatah Central Committee meeting in Ramallah, Abbas made these remarks, reinforcing his firm stance against any attempts to uproot Palestinians.

Referring to his participation in the recently concluded African Union summit in Addis Ababa, Abbas said that he reiterated Palestine’s strong position against any efforts to displace its people.

He firmly declared that Palestine is not for sale and insisted that no part of Palestinian land—including Gaza, the West Bank, or Jerusalem—will be relinquished.

Additionally, President Abbas emphasized the importance of adhering to international legitimacy and the Arab Peace Initiative as the foundation for a political resolution to the Palestinian crisis.

The Arab Peace Initiative, adopted at the 2002 Arab League Summit in Beirut, calls for the establishment of a recognized Palestinian state based on the 1967 borders.

Furthermore, Abbas welcomed the statement by UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed. During his meeting with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Wednesday, bin Zayed reaffirmed his country’s firm rejection of any attempts to displace the Palestinian people.
