Over 500,000 Children at Risk of Malnutrition in Afghanistan: WFP Steps Up Aid

Kabul, Afghanistan – The World Food Programme (WFP) is intensifying its efforts to provide aid to millions of people in Afghanistan, including school meals for children, amid a severe malnutrition crisis. More than 500,000 children are at risk of malnutrition this year due to restrictions on access to food and extreme climate conditions.

The WFP is working tirelessly to ensure that vulnerable populations receive the necessary support to survive. The organization has highlighted the urgent need for international assistance to address the growing food insecurity and prevent further human suffering.
