Nicole Kidman’s Thriller ‘Holland’ Drops First Trailer

Nicole Kidman stars in the highly anticipated thriller Holland, which has just released its first trailer ahead of its Prime Video debut on March 27, 2025. The “wildly unpredictable” mystery-thriller sees Kidman play Nancy Vandergroot, a meticulous teacher and homemaker who appears to lead a perfect life with her husband, Fred (Matthew Macfadyen), and their son, Harry (Jude Hill), in the idyllic town of Holland, Michigan.

However, after a series of conversations with her friend Dave Delgado (Gael García Bernal), Nancy starts to suspect that her seemingly perfect life may be hiding dark secrets. The trailer teases Nancy’s growing realization that everything, and everyone, around her might not be as it seems.

Directed by Mimi Cave in her follow-up to 2022’s Fresh, Holland also stars Rachel Sennott, Lennon Parham, Isaac Krasner, and Jeff Pope, with a screenplay by Andrew Sodorski.

Early reactions to the trailer have been positive, with viewers praising its gripping tone and solid cast. “The cast alone has me hooked! Can’t wait for this one,” wrote one excited fan, while another noted the film’s resemblance to the iconic Stepford Wives, calling it “giving Stepford Wives vibes.”

In addition to Holland, Nicole Kidman has also been starring in other Prime Video projects, including The Expats, a six-part limited series, and will appear in the upcoming Scarpetta alongside Jamie Lee Curtis.
