“Neymar Can’t Afford It Anymore”

How much hope, how much confidence Neymar was included in the team of Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilal! But the Brazilian star could fulfill their expectations. Neymar’s Saudi chapter began in August 2023 and ended in January this year. Neymar could not give anything to Al-Hilal in almost a year and a half campaign.

He has played only seven matches for Al-Hilal in this year and a half. After being out of the field for a year due to injury, he returned to the injury again. The situation was such that Al-Hilal was forced to drop Neymar from the Pro League squad.

In such a situation, Neymar did not want to stay in Al-Hilal, Al Hilal did not want to keep him. All in all, Neymar left the Saudi Arabian club on the basis of agreement and went to his roots. At the end of January, the name of the former club Santos. From where the Brazilian star emerged.

Esteve Kalzada, the club’s chief executive officer, spoke about Neymar for the first time since his departure. There he highlighted a reality of 33-year-old injury-prone Neymar’s life. “I’m very sad that we never got Neymar,” Kalzada said. As soon as he arrived, he suffered a ligament injury. His departure proves again that at Al-Hilal we are looking for players who can give their best performance. ’

“Neymar has contributed a lot to marketing, but for us, performance comes first,” Kalzada added. From this we conclude that he is not capable of playing according to our expectations. The negotiation to terminate his contract was beneficial to all parties. ’

Neymar returned to Santos in the first match as a substitute and did not score a goal, but he was the best player. In the next match of the Brazilian club, he got a place in the XI. After 481 days, he played a match that was forgotten in the starting XI for a team. Neymar was on the field for 75 minutes (81 minutes with added time) in Santos’ goalless draw against Novorizontino. He took a shot but could not keep it in the post. He tried to dribble 7 times and did not succeed once.
