Netflix Star Caught Trying to Smuggle £150k of Drugs Into the UK

Olga Bednarska, a star from Netflix’s Too Hot to Handle, has admitted to trying to smuggle cannabis into the UK. She pleaded guilty in court to helping illegally bring in the drugs, which were worth £157,000.

The reality TV star, who appeared in season 3 of the show, was arrested at Manchester Airport in October after arriving on a flight from Thailand. Authorities found 40kg of cannabis in two suitcases.

Bednarska said she was asked to carry what she thought were designer clothes and watches in exchange for £18,000 and the cost of her flights. However, when airport security stopped her, she didn’t even know the codes to open the suitcases.

After being in custody for several weeks, the court decided she would go through 15 days of rehab activities instead of jail time. She also received a 20-month suspended sentence, meaning if she commits another crime before November 2026, she could go to jail for 20 months.

The judge told her she had placed trust in a stranger and was acting under the direction of others, likely for profit. The judge added that her actions had contributed to the harm caused by illegal drugs in communities. Reports also revealed that Bednarska had gone into £16,000 of debt from living beyond her means.
