Moana 2 Now Streaming on Disney+

Calling all Disney fans – the long-awaited Moana 2 is now available to stream on Disney+! After a successful digital release for purchase and rental, Disney+ subscribers can now enjoy the blockbuster sequel for free.

Following its massive success at the global box office, where it earned over $1 billion, Moana 2 has been eagerly awaited by fans. The film continues the story of the beloved character Moana, set three years after the original. This time, Moana teams up with Maui to embark on a quest to find the mysterious island of Motufetu and break its curse.

For those who aren’t yet subscribed to Disney+, you can sign up for as little as £4.99 per month for the Disney+ Standard with Ads plan. There are also ad-free options available, with the Standard HD plan at £8.99 per month and 4K Ultra HD at £12.99 per month.

The streaming release of Moana 2 follows Disney’s usual pattern of a 100-day window between its theatrical release and streaming drop. Despite its box office success, the sequel hasn’t quite matched the critical acclaim of its predecessor, currently holding a 61% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

In addition to the sequel’s release, Disney is also working on a live-action remake of the original Moana, with Dwayne Johnson returning as Maui and Catherine Laga’aia stepping into the role of Moana. Johnson recently reflected on the “eye-opening” experience of portraying Maui in live-action, sharing how different it felt to step into the character in real life. “I realized right away, ‘Oh, wow, this is different,’” Johnson said.

Fans of the Moana franchise can now stream Moana 2 on Disney+ and look forward to more exciting Moana content in the future!
