Mbappe Is Ecstatic To Have The Title Destiny In His Hands

The shadow of discomfort is gone. The impression of inertia is erased. At least that’s what Kylian Mbappe claims. He has now adapted to Real Madrid. It is also reflected in the performance. His double goal has taken Real Madrid to the top of the points table. They don’t have to look to other teams to fight for the title. Mbappe wants to run forward by keeping this trend.

Real Madrid beat Las Palmas by 41 goals and climbed to the top of the La Liga points list on Sunday. Mbappe scored another goal after equalizing the team that was behind at the beginning. In this match there was a wave of excitement in that gallery. In particular, Mbappe’s name was chanted by supporters.

Mbappe is also very happy about it. The forward said that he is now used to the style of play of Real Madrid. He promised to match his best in the future.

“Playing in Real Madrid is like a dream. The fans are shouting my name, it’s more. I am very happy.”

“Now I have adapted to the team and I can match myself with my teammates and now I can play as I want. We are all enjoying now.”
After coming to Real Madrid from PSG, Mbappe had to listen to a lot of criticism due to the lack of consistency in performance. But he is gradually appearing in his own form. He scored four goals in the last three matches. He has 18 goals in all competitions.

Real’s win against Las Palmas was expected. It was also urgent. Atlético Madrid, who were at the top before this round, unexpectedly lost to Leganes the day before. Barcelona later dropped points at Getafe. Real’s challenge was to take advantage of the opportunity. Mbappe is relieved to be able to do that. In particular, the forward is satisfied with the way Real Madrid is giving strong pressure even after conceding a goal in the first minute of the match.
“It was a very important match for us. We know what happened yesterday (Saturday) in the match between Atletico and Barcelona. We wanted to win and we did.”

“We didn’t start well. But the response was great. We went on the attack, played fast football, attacked spaces brilliantly. I have scored several goals. We are happy, because we are now on top of everyone.”

A few days ago, in the final of the Spanish Super Cup, Real Madrid was crushed by 52 goals against arch-rivals Barcelona. Later, in the last sixteen of the Copa del Rey, they were ahead by 20 goals but scored two goals in the end to make the match in extra time. After that they played well and won.
A recent performance like this has surely brought uneasiness to the team. But the way the team overcame all these and climbed to the top of the La Liga points table is what gives Mbappe new hope.

“I am proud of the way the team has responded. The loss in the Supercopa final was tough. Although we played well in the Copa del Rey, we made mistakes and the match went to extra time. Even so, we showed the mentality of winning that day. Today’s win was important. Now we depend on ourselves to win the league.”

46 points in 20 matches now for Real. In the same match, 44 points of Atletico Madrid, 39 points of Barcelona and Athletic Bilbao.
