Lisa Discusses Acting Debut and Future Action Roles

Blackpink’s Lisa recently opened up about her acting debut in The White Lotus during an interview on the red carpet at the show’s Season 3 premiere. The K-pop star admitted to feeling nervous on her first major acting project, but her experience on set was positive, thanks to the support of her co-stars.

“I don’t know what to feel right now. I’m just so excited. I can’t wait for all of you guys to watch this show,” Lisa shared with Variety. It was her first time acting, and she expressed uncertainty about what to expect on set. “It’s my first acting [experience] so I don’t know what to expect, but everybody just being so supportive helped me a lot,” she added.

Lisa recalled her first day of filming, which was filled with nerves when she heard White Lotus creator Mike White shout “action.” “I was so nervous. I was sweating. I was like, ‘I can’t remember my lines,’” she admitted. But despite the initial jitters, Lisa quickly found her footing in the role, where she plays an employee at a luxury hotel in Thailand.

In addition to her acting, Lisa shared her music with the cast, including her hit song and music video “Rockstar,” before its official release. “We’re just sharing what we do. All of them are so supportive,” she said.

While Lisa currently doesn’t have any other acting projects lined up, she did hint at future aspirations. When asked about her ideal movie role, Lisa revealed her interest in action films. “Could I play a ‘badass’ on screen? Oh yeah, I think so,” she said with confidence.

Fans are eagerly awaiting Lisa’s performance in The White Lotus and looking forward to her potential future roles in action-packed movies.
