Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars will join forces to perform a special tribute to Los Angeles at this Sunday’s Grammy Awards, dedicating their performance to the city and those impacted by recent wildfires. The announcement comes after rumors circulated that Gaga had been in talks to perform at the prestigious event.
The duo, who received two Grammy nominations for their hit collaboration “Die With a Smile,” including Song of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, will celebrate their chart-topping success during the tribute. The ballad, released in August 2024, has dominated the charts, reaching No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in early 2025 and staying at the top for four consecutive weeks.
Gaga recently performed at the FireAid benefit concert in Los Angeles, where she closed the event with three songs, including “Shallow” and “Always Remember Us This Way,” as well as a new track written with her fiancé, Michael Polansky, titled “All I Need Is Time.”
Meanwhile, Mars has been riding a wave of successful collaborations, including his recent release “Apt.” with Rosé, which surpassed a billion streams on Spotify. He also made waves with “Fat Juicy & Wet,” a steamy track with Sexyy Red that features Gaga and Rosé in the music video.
Fans can expect an emotional and powerful performance from the pair at the Grammy Awards, set to air this Sunday.
