            •           Election Day Begins: Americans are voting today to decide their next president. Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump both need a minimum of 270 electoral votes to secure victory. Crucial battleground states — including Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin — are expected to play a major role in determining the outcome.

            •           Dixville Notch Kicks Off Voting Tradition: In the early hours, Harris and Trump tied with three votes each in Dixville Notch, a small New Hampshire community with a tradition of opening and closing its polls just after midnight ET to be among the first to report results.
