Juventus Beat Milan To Fourth Place

The team from Turin tasted victory after three matches in the league.

Juventus found the back of the net twice in five minutes after a dull first half. The team from Turin finished fourth in the league table after beating AC Milan. Juventus won the Serie A match 2-0 at home on Saturday night. Samuel Mbangula and Tim Weah scored one goal each. After dropping points in three consecutive matches in the league, they tasted victory. In their last 9 matches, they have won only two, while the remaining seven have been draws.

Juventus has reached fourth place with 37 points in 21 matches, 8 wins and 13 draws. Milan is eighth with 31 points in 20 matches. After a scoreless first half, Mbangula put the team ahead in the 59th minute. The Belgian winger’s right-footed shot from inside the box deflected off the feet of an opposition defender and into the net. Weah scored the second goal in the 64th minute. The United States winger, who is the son of the 1995 Ballon d’Or winner and former Liberian president George Wehr, entered the box after catching a teammate’s through ball and beating the goalkeeper.
