John Krasinski is People’s 2024 Sexiest Man Alive

John Krasinski has been named People’s Sexiest Man Alive for 2024. The announcement was made on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert on Tuesday night.

When Krasinski heard the news, he said he was shocked. “I didn’t believe it at first. I thought, maybe, I’m being pranked,” he told People. “I don’t wake up thinking, ‘Today, I’ll be called the Sexiest Man Alive.’ But it happened.”

Krasinski’s wife, Emily Blunt, was very happy when she heard the news. “She was really excited,” Krasinski said.

Krasinski is famous for playing Jim Halpert on the TV show The Office and Jack Ryan in the Jack Ryan series on Prime Video. He also directed and starred in the movie A Quiet Place and its sequel.

This year, Krasinski worked on a new movie called IF, where neighbors can see other people’s imaginary friends. He also helped produce the movie A Quiet Place: Day One.

The “Sexiest Man Alive” award has been given every year since 1985. Mel Gibson was the first winner. Last year, Patrick Dempsey won the title. Other past winners include Chris Evans, Michael B. Jordan, Paul Rudd, John Legend, and Idris Elba.

The special issue with Krasinski’s interview will be in stores on Friday.
